Sure, that's all great, you might think, but how do I get my Instagram back?

Firstly, let's talk about the elephant in the room – how long does a ban usually last? It depends.

It depends on how many times you have been banned in the past…If any. It also depends on what caused the ban in the first place. Let the punishment fit the crime kind of mentality, you know?

But, usually, a temporary ban lasts from around 24 – 48 hours. Usually.

That sentence may be extended if you continue doing the same crime. Duh.

But to answer yet another million-dollar question.

Can you get permanently banned on Instagram?

Short answer, yes.

This, however, depends on your activities and behavior after the temporary ban. If you continue spamming, posting inappropriate content, or just be a big pain in the behind for Instagram – they might ban your account, well, forever .

But for the majority of you who just want to know how to get unbanned from Instagram, this is what to do. A short yet helpful guide for 2020.
